Project requirements
For a VNA or laboratory setup, specify port interfaces, calibration reference planes, cable length and operating band. Select adapters and cables as part of the complete measurement path.
Inspection and acceptance
Agree mating torque, connector inspection and handling instructions. Ask for return-loss and insertion-loss results under stated conditions, and distinguish cable repeatability from instrument accuracy.
