Project requirements
Specify both genders and the impedance of the SMA and BNC sides. Confirm that the BNC variant matches the cable and equipment, and identify any mounting requirements.
Inspection and acceptance
An interface adapter is not automatically an impedance transformer. If the two systems have different impedances, specify a suitable matching approach and the allowed loss before ordering.
